Pete Evens likes to say he can do “CUSTOM ANYTHING”

This used to be a dresser and now it's a really unique vanity. You'll see close ups of the sinks and faucets further down the page.

These are pics of a fun project by Pete Evens of Anubis Construction. The clients weren’t afraid to take some chances using an old dresser and converting it into a new vanity. With a few alterations by Pete Evens, it’s a unique base to define the mood of the bathroom.

These sinks were made in Pennsylvania by JSG Oceana. They are made using a similar process as much of the oven safe and thermo-resistant (it can take extremes of hot and cold without breaking) glassware that comes out of this region. They are available in lots of colors and sizes. They also make drop in sinks and undermounts which can be fun when installed with LED light below them.

And I’m sure you wanna see what this looks like with the water on, right…???

Come on...this is a TOTALLY fun bathroom, right?!! It would be such a pleasure to use these faucets daily with the water cascading over your hands

We LOVE wall hung toilets for SO MANY reasons. They are so easy to clean compared to a floor mount toilet. One can sweep or mop right under them instead of around all of the grooves of a regular floor mounted toilet. The carrier on which they are mounted provides several height options for installation so tall homeowners can have a taller finished bowl height and shorter homeowners can select the shorter height. (To be clear: once installed, they are not adjustable.)

There's the drain!! It is installed with the floor tile so that it nearly disappears

The drain is by Quick Drain USA. Look closer…there is NO THRESHOLD on this shower. You can walk or roll a wheelchair or walker right in. It’s so elegant and easier to clean since there are fewer corners to get icky.

Master Vanity in Easy to Clean Glass

Master Vanity in Easy to Clean Glass

We get to work on all kinds of projects. We love them all, big and small, but this one is pretty special. The homeowners created this incredible executive rental for very discerning renters. EVERYTHING is done well. There were no corners cut. Note the vanity above, it’s from Keuco and made in Germany with an easy to clean truffle glass front. There is also a storage tower for linens, etc. The medicine cabinet is Sidler and made in Switzerland. There are lights in the medicine cabinet and electricity inside it to keep razors, toothbrushes, etc. plugged in.

Chrome is BACK!! Let’s talk about Popular Finishes

I’ve been saying this for a while now: “Chrome never goes out of style”. Well, now I have proof. According to the April 2012 of The Retail Observer, chrome has been specified in 52% of kitchens, up 18% from last year, and in 65% of bathrooms, up 19% from last year. Chrome suits a traditional period bath as much as it does a sleek modern one.

For those traditional baths, polished nickel is a lustrous choice with a hint of warmth that exudes elegance. This finish has increased 4-7% over the last year. It appears that this increase is at the expense the brushed finishes. (Brushed nickel has decreased 16-20% in the past year!!)

FYI, bronze finishes decreased from 49%-to 41% last year. Stainless rose 4% in kitchens over the last year.

We have all of these finishes on display in the store so COME ON IN!

This is a photo of a To-Die-For Zucchetti faucet in polished nickel. Elegance and Individuality.
