Bathtubs for Two

Sometimes, you just wanna have some company and save water at the same time. But not all bathtubs are appropriate for two bodies. No one wants to sit on a drain or lean against an overflow so a drain near the center line of the tub eliminates this concern. Ideally, a tub for two would have a slanted back on both sides. Some couples love to have asymetrical slants so that each side offers a different type of reclining comfort.

Measuring for Tub Size

When advising clients on tub sizing, a good place to start is to measure the length from hip to heel of the primary bather. Then, find a tub that is about that length along the bottom interior. For width, the interior bottom should be about 6-8″ wider than the primary bather’s widest part.

Wall-hung toilets not only look great, they save space, are easy to clean around and visually open the space. They have very low maintenance compared to floor mounted toilets since they have a true pipe to pipe connection in the rear outlet while floor mounted toilets rely on a wax ring to keep water in it’s place. We can’t count how many remodels have begun because of a leaking wax ring. And, the finished height can be short or tall.

Why you NEED a towel warmer

This is how to maximize the warm surface area of your towels

This is how to maximize the warm surface area of your towels

We are all trying to save energy and water. A towel warmer can help you do both. A towel warmer will warm your space which means you will be less likely to turn up the thermostat in your house. Because the towel will dry more quickly, it will need to be washed less often. (It will take way longer to get yucky.) In addition, towel warmers can be used to warm your robe and clothes and to dry your fine washables. We have them in every style and price range. They can be white or antique white to match your woodwork or they can be in a metal to match your faucets. Many homeowners like to install them in a color to add of fun pop of color in the bathroom. The most important thing to note when researching your towel warmer is the BTUs. Low BTUs mean that the towel warmer will take a very long time to warm the towel if it warms the towel at all. There are some brands that just do not get warm enough.
